Esplanade Apartments has stood on the West Beach seafront since 1976 — a familiar landmark for generations of visitors drawn to this stretch of Adelaide's coastline. For thirty years, from 1996 to 2026, the building remained under the care of the same owners, who watched the neighbourhood grow around it while the building itself became something of a fixture in the area.
In 2026, a new chapter began. Esplanade Apartments changed ownership and came under the management of hostr, bringing with it a renewed focus on the guest experience — beginning with a full renovation of the apartments themselves. Today, each of the six apartments has been thoughtfully refreshed, pairing the building's original beachfront position with interiors built for modern coastal living.
